A unique trip to Scotland
Nick and Julie would like to invite you to be our only paying guests supporting NorCal SCI at their Beach Cottage named "Providence House." This "Wee Jem" is right on Kinghorn Beach where you can watch the light, sea and sand constantly change. It's an ideal location to explore the Fife Coast, play the numerous golf links in the area or simply hop on the train, journey along the scenic coastline and be in the heart of Edinburgh in less than 40 minutes.
Kinghorn itself has everything you would need to get a real Scottish experience with an 18-hole golf course with spectacular views over the Firth of Forth, an award winning butcher, a baker that provides the most delicious cream donuts, not to mention the Auld Hoose Pub and the highly-recommended restaurant named The Ship.
Make yourself at home in the comfortable surroundings which have all the usual amenities. The two bedrooms each have a queen bed and there is a separate bathroom off the entrance hall. Note that the bathroom is not suitable for wheelchair users. The only other downside is that after 7 days, you are going to have to leave.
"Providence House " is available pretty much any week from late December 2019 to December 2020 as long as you give enough notice.
An anonymous donor has donated enough air miles to ensure two people can fly economy from California to Scotland and yes, the return journey is included.
“We're excited to give this opportunity to you and would be delighted to give you the benefit of our local knowledge to make the most of your stay.” Nick and Julie Struthers
