Finding affordable high-speed Internet service

As a large segment of the disabled community is reliant on government assistance programs, finding and affording high-speed Internet access is often challenging. The Digital Access Project seeks to change that with the partnership formed between the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers and the California Emerging Technology Fund. logo-digital-access-project-373x127

The Digital Access Project aims to help those who do not have the digital literacy skills they need to succeed and help them understand the relevance the Internet has in their lives. Whether it’s finding a job, helping their children complete homework for school or accessing e-commerce, electronic medical records and connecting with distant family, they work with every person and persons with a disability to take advantage of the tools they need to succeed.

A four question survey on their web site will help you be on the way to begin enjoying the benefits of high-speed Internet.
