Traveling in a wheelchair? Why not?

I recently had a chance to extensively interview Ashley Lyn Olson, founder of http://www.wheelchairtraveling.com/, a web site she created in 2006.  Ashley suffered a spinal cord injury in 1998 at the age of 14 in a solo motor vehicle accident.  Her injury is at the T-12/L-1 level and she is wheelchair-bound. We spoke quite a bit about all types of traveling that individuals in wheelchair can enjoy and over the next several weeks, I’ll be posting videos of our conversation for your enjoyment.  In the meantime, check out this 20-minute video of hers showing a lot of images of the type of activities that one can enjoy as well as some interviews she has done with other disabled individuals.
