Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) held its first Day on The Lake event at Vasona County Park in Los Gatos.

The NorCal SCI Team of Nick, Carl and Franklin were on hand to see this historical event commemorating the opening of the Sobrato Pavilion at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) in San Jose on Dec. 2nd. SCVMC already has some of the most experienced staff for SCI rehabilitation and now has one of the best facilities in the entire country. The SCI Rehabilitation facility not only serves residents of Santa Clara County but also all of Northern California.
Something truly for the residents of Santa Clara County to be proud of.

Foster Andersen, founder of Shared Adventures and the Shared Adventures Supporters have to be congratulated for another great event on Cowell Beach at Santa Cruz. This was the 25th Day on The Beach and was attended by well over 1000 participants and volunteers. NorCal SCI Co-founder Nick Struthers volunteered at the event and in between pushing beach wheel chairs and dismantling gang planks, he managed to put together this video.

Abilities Expo just held their Bay Area Event at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. With 100 exhibitors and over 3,000 visitors, there was a lot going on. The Disability Services & Legal Center (DSLC) in Santa Rosa recently hosted its 11th annual Northern California Tech Expo which PNG Blogger, Nick Struthers, felt was a big success.
