FALLING OUT: Episode 1 - Users share their first time falling out of the wheelchair
Life is too short, so why not have some fun ridiculing ourselves while sharing some light moments with other wheelchair users. In comes NorCal SCI contributor, Krystina Jackson. She suffered a spinal cord injury in a snow skiing accident some 15 years ago and has been using a power wheelchair ever since. But that incident did not take her amazing sense of humor and energy. And so, when she first approached NorCal SCI with the idea of interviewing other wheelchair users about their first time falling out of their wheelchair, after we did our major LMAO, we thought it was a great idea. It brought a certain amount of humor as well as reality about life in a wheelchair where not many users can claim not having fallen out of their wheelchair. We shared Krystina's version of her "Falling Out" three weeks ago HERE.
And hence, we're pleased to launch Episode 1 where we feature three wheelchair users we met at the Abilities Expo last month who were kind enough to share their story with Krystina. ENJOY!
A NOTE FROM NORCAL SCI: Please shoot a 1-2 minute video of your first time falling out of your wheelchair and send it to us for inclusion. Send the video to info@norcalsci.org.
