#ThriveWorldwide coming to San Francisco on Dec. 3
Our friend, Brittany Déjean, founder of AbleThrive, has embarked on an ambitious effort to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities with 28 meetups in 15 countries on Sun., Dec. 3rd, including the only one in Northern California to be held in San Francisco.
The event, #TheriveWorldwide, is a campaign that seeks to unite people with disabilities and allies who believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive. The SF event, taking place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 44 Montgomery St. 18th Floor, will feature a short AT&T documentary segment featured on DIRECTV and a panel discussion from people with disabilities and allies in the Bay Area then stay for refreshments and meet new people who care about inclusion.
