Web Usability Study in S.F. seeks disabled volunteers with $150 compensation

The Paciello Group, a specialist digital accessibility consultancy, is seeking individuals with fine motor hand disability or vision impairment to take part in a web usability study on Nov. 9-10 in San Francisco.

During the hour-long study, you’ll be asked to complete a series of tasks using a web site, answer some general questions about your use of technology before the study begins, and ask you about your experience afterwards.

Participants should bring their own device for use (laptop, tablet or smartphone) and any necessary assistive technology.  The study will be video-recorded, to help the site developers understand how to improve the site, and to demonstrate how people who use assistive technology use the site.  All participants will receive a pre-loaded gift card to the value of $150 as compensations for participation.

If you'd like to be considered for the study, please complete a short online survey by following THIS LINK.  You'll be contacted if selected to participate.  If you’d like to contact the researchers for more information about the study, please email David Sloan (dsloan@paciellogroup.com) or Shane Paciello (spaciello@paciellogroup.com).
