East Bay SCI Meetup in Pleasanton on January 11

The next East Bay SCI Support Group meetup is coming up on Thurs., Jan. 11th where you can drop in at any time from 5-7 p.m. at the SCI-FIT facility located at 3283 Bernal Ave., Suite 105 Pleasanton.

NorCal SCI and SCI-FIT collaborated back in November and launched this group specifically for individuals with SCI.  The idea is to create an environment for such individuals to "meetup" and socialize and help form the future of this group.  SCI-FIT is generously providing the use of its facility as well as snacks and refreshments.

For those living in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, there were no SCI-specific groups that met on a regular basis, so our hope is that there will be a sufficient interest to make this a viable group.  

So, please, come to the Jan. 11th meeting and mingle with other individuals with SCI, get to know each other better and make new friends and learn from each other. That’s the foundation of a great support group.
