USA offers webinar on optimizing home care for people with SCI/D

United Spinal Association will present a webinar on Thursday, May 18th from noon-1 p.m. PST that would address how to best optimize home care for individuals with spinal cord injury/disorder.

This webinar will discuss case management strategies to ensure people with spinal cord injuries and disorders receive optimal care as they transition from hospitals and rehab facilities to home care setting.

The webinar will provide tips on improving patient care, customer service and cost outcomes, as well as insight on decreasing hospital re-admissions and health complications. Therapeutic and specialty beds, surfaces, and electric lifts customized to a person's needs, not diagnosis, will also be highlighted. It will also offer resources and guidance for providing custom consultations, clinical documentation, patient advocacy and insurance support.
