San Luis Obispo Support Group serves individuals with mobility challenges

We were thrilled to learn that San Luis Obispo County's disabled community has been served for about 20 years by the amazing work of Mae MacDonald and Mike Ward who organize monthly meetings of the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Access Support Group to help those individuals with mobility challenges.  

The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month from 5-7 p.m. at the Graduate Restaurant at 990 Industrial Way in San Luis Obispo.  

With some help from friends, Mae has been able to provide dessert, BBQ and holiday cookies all throughout the year.  We at NorCal SCI would like to send a big shout out to Mae and Mike and thank them for their dedicated work.  We will do everything we can to help support this group and will be making an in-person visit to them in the very near future.
