United Spinal awards $1,000 grant to NorCal SCI

NorCal SCI was thrilled to be notified by United Spinal Association that as their Silicon Valley Chapter, they were awarding us a $1,000 grant through the C.R. Bard Foundation which recognizes Chapters seeking to enhance advocacy, membership or fundraising efforts.

The grant is one of eight awarded this year from among the nearly 50 Chapters of USA.  The C.R. Bard Foundation is the corporate giving organization of C.R. Bard, the medical devices and supplies company.

As part of our Chapter work, NorCal SCI plans on using the grant to help bolster the funding for its first-ever fundraising event to take place in early fall of 2018. The event will help raise much-needed funds to support our many initiatives highlighted in our 2018 Goals & Objectives.

We are grateful for the support and confidence USA and C.R. Bard Foundation have shown NorCal SCI in our first year of existence.
