Paraplegic adventures into hurricane-ravaged island

We don’t know what exactly was on our friend, Matt Tilford and his girlfriend’s minds when they decided to go to a hurricane-ravaged island for a lengthy discovery vacation but we do know they deserve lots of credit. You see, their destination was Puerto Rico which saw Hurricane Maria tear across the island back in September of 2017, devastating the entire island which is still recovering to this date.

Nevertheless, that didn’t deter these two adventurers, so Matt and along his wheelchair were off and rolling. He has been blogging about his trip quite literally every step of the way, sharing the good along with the bad, all along using his self-deprecating humor to demonstrate how he has dealt with some of the challenges he faced.

Now, we gotta get a couple of things out there. First, we had no clue that Matt was such a good writer. But more curious, it seemed from all the pictures they posted, all they’ve been doing is eat and drink. Tough life, Matt.

We’d like to congratulate these two brave souls for taking on this challenge and sharing their great story with everyone. Read Matt’s blog HERE.
