Marin CIL to feature photography exhibit of disability advocate Anthony Tusler

Penngrove’s Anthony Tusler, an accomplished artist and disability rights activist, will have 21 of his incredible photographs on display featuring people with disabilities in their day-to-day lives starting Fri., Nov. 9th at the Marin Center for Independent Living in San Rafael.

The exhibit, “inside the disability community” will open from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 8th for an artist/curator talk featuring Anthony and Fran Osborne as they share the journey of capturing moments of change.

Injured as a results of an accidental gunshot when he was 5 years old, Anthony has been a fixture of the spinal cord injury community for decades. He is co-founder of the Disability Resource Center at Sonoma State University and has worked tirelessly advocating for equal access and rights.

Anthony’s exhibit is open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 710 4th Street, San Rafael and it’s free to attend.
