SAVE THE DATE: Berkeley's CIL to host Momentum Expo on April 14

Berkeley-based Center for Independent Living will host its first-ever Momentum Expo on Sat., April 14th, a day dedicated to showcasing transportation and mobility.

The day's goal is to empower people with disabilities of all ages and their families to get out, to get moving and to actively explore their community.  Among the scheduled speakers are:

  • Bob Franklin, Customer Access & Accessibility Department Manager at BART
  • Bob Coomber, Wheelchair hiker and focus of 2016 documentary, 4 Wheel Bob
  • Cory Lee Woodard, Accessible travel blogger, CurbFreeWithCoryLee.com, (Video conference from Morocco)

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ed Roberts Campus, 3075 Adeline Street, Berkeley.  REGISTER HERE.
