BORP offering evening yoga classes in Berkeley

Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) is now offering two evening yoga classes that individuals in wheelchair can also participate and to eliminate any barriers to trying these classes out, BORP offers your first class at no cost.

The classes are held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. through two different instructors.  The 6 p.m. class is led by Valerie Jew while the 7:30 p.m. class is run by Julia Fogelson who is the newest member of the Fitness Studio instructors at BORP.  And yes, both classes can be enjoyed by wheelchair users.

The studio is located at the Ed Roberts Campus on the first floor, Suite 150 at 3075 Adeline St., Berkeley.  For questions, contact the Health & Wellness Program Coordinator at fitness@borp.org or 510-849-4663, ext. 1319.
