Quad Rugby and Wheelchair Lacrosse practices in Alameda on Aug. 19

Berkeley-based Center for Independent Living (CIL) is holding wheelchair lacrosse and rugby practices where everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary.  The practices are held on Sun., Aug. 19th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alameda Point Gymnasium, 1101 W. Red Line Ave., Alameda.

There is no charge whatsoever and equipment, including wheelchairs, will be provided for newcomers. This will be a skills building practice with scrimmages.  Both activities will be held simultaneously on different courts.
