CIRM continues with its communication blitz following SF Chronicle report

We promise this will be the last one we’ll be notifying you about as the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), otherwise more commonly known as California’s Stem Cell agency, has gone into overdrive with its effort to respond publicly toward the not-so-flattering investigative article that appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle three weeks ago — see story HERE.

Understandably, CIRM is very concerned about the public’s perception and support of the agency as it is poised to go back to the voters in 2020 for a reported $5 billion funding request to continue with its significant research work involving the use of stem cells. The Chronicle provided CIRM with an opportunity to address the report in this opinion piece written by its executive leadership.
