Sonoma-Marin SCI group's Feb. 18 meeting to feature adapted vehicle repair specialist

For those with an adapted vehicle, in addition to the regular costs and problems involving the vehicle itself, there is the additional concern/fear of the adapted parts and equipment failing us which, depending on what fails, it could not only leave you out of pocket by a nice amount of change but also stuck inside or outside your vehicle.

So, it’s a welcome sight to have Mike Murphy, who operates a “mobile” adapted vehicle repair service in Sonoma and Marin counties, be the presenter at the group’s Mon., Feb. 18th meeting that runs from 4-5:30 p.m.

But here’s another secret about Mechanic Mike: he also repairs wheelchairs, scooters and home wheelchair lifts. So, a good guy to know in case of those pesky surprises. The best part of his service is that it takes place at your residence. He drives his shop around.

The meeting takes place at the Clubhouse - Azure Apartment Complex, 5 Indigo Drive, Petaluma. You can contact Stan Kosloski for more information at (707) 774-6466 or by e-mail at stankosloski@gmail.com
