NorCal SCI co-founders to visit Sacramento area SCI rehab centers, Roseville support group

We’ll be on the road to Sacramento this Thursday, April 4th as part of our outreach efforts to the various rehab hospitals in Northern California, stopping over at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento and the Sutter Rehabilitation Institute in Roseville. We’ll be meeting with the therapists and share the various services and programs NorCal SCI offers so that when presented with an opportunity involving a person with a spinal cord injury, they can share that knowledge with them.

We’re planning on ending our day at Sutter’s monthly Peer Support Group meeting which is open to inpatients as well as the general community of those with SCI. It’s a chance to meet the SCI community in person and learn about their needs as well as share any opportunities that we can assist them with. If you’re in the Sacramento area, we invite you to attend this meeting held from 6:30-8 p.m. in the PT Gym of the hospital located at 6 Medical Plaza Drive, Roseville.

We’ll file a report of our visits in next week’s newsletter.
