Let’s face it, our shoulders were not designed for the strains of constant transfers and wheelchair pushes which means at some point, we’re likely to pay the price for that type of strenuous and repetitive motions involved in such activities.

That’s why we’re happy to announce NorCal SCI supporter and physical therapist and athletic trainer, Kyle Smith MPT, ATC, CSRS, will be at the Timpany Center in San Jose on Wed., April 24th at noon for one hour to discuss and demonstrate the best practices and techniques to minimize shoulder issues that often impact wheelchair users.
