Apple stores support Global Accessibility Awareness Day on May 16
Your local Apple store is supporting Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) by hosting accessibility workshops at many of its stores on Thurs., May 16th. The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.
Yes, we know that it is only two days away but the following stores have reached out to NorCal SCI and have offered to schedule accessibility workshops at a date and time convenient for you. We’ve found the personnel at the stores to be highly informative and accommodating, demonstrating how their technology can create efficient solutions specifically developed for individuals with disabilities.
NorCal SCI has already scheduled multiple sessions at the Los Gatos, Palo Alto and Burlingame stores and were well received by the participants.
If you are interested, simply contact any store listed below and schedule your apple accessibility features session with one of the accessibility geniuses.
