The folks at BACKBONES, an online community for those with a spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D) are debuting PeerConnect on Sat., June 8th from 10-11 a.m. PST to discuss “traveling with SCI” in an online meetup among peers who would contribute and answer questions from the audience related to this topic.

Nobody likes the hassles of traveling, but it can be extra challenging for those with spinal cord injuries/disabilities. From planes, train, and automobiles, this PeerConnect session is for you to discuss all the tips and tricks that make traveling an easier process so you don’t have to worry about it.

BACKBONES PeerConnect is a program offering these monthly online meetups. Whether you have many years post-injury, or if you are new to the community, PeerConnect is a great way to meet others, share your story, and learn from other people with similar experiences to you. These meetups will be started and moderated by a person with SCI/D who has experience with peer support and mentoring.
