INSPIRE 2019: NorCal SCI's signature fundraising party to be held at The GlassHouse Oct. 5

We can’t wait til next year.“ It’s something we heard over and over from our departing guests last year following the conclusion of our inaugural fundraising party. Those five words were a confirmation of a great time every one of our 110 guests had and we knew that we had to up our game even more for this year. We think we’re off to a good start by announcing our 2nd Annual Fundraising Party, INSPIRE 2019: Eat, Drink and Be Giving will be held on Sat., Oct. 5th from 6-10 p.m. at one of the most impressive venues in Silicon Valley, The GlassHouse.

The evening marks our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year. Last year, we raised over $37,000 in net proceeds and we’re hoping to surpass that substantially this year.

Once again, we’ve kept the formula for a fun evening fairly simple. It involves, in no particular order, the following components:

  • Have a great emcee - we’re grateful once again to Valley Medical Center Foundation CEO and NorCal SCI Board member, Chris Wilder, for agreeing to lead the activities for the evening. If you haven’t seen him in action, you’re missing out on what it takes to make an evening fun and engaging.

  • Great food and lots of alcohol - one of the many appeals of The GlassHouse involved their professional catering and beverage services that we’re positive you would enjoy. Additionally, we will once again have premium wines to purchase by the glass which was a big hit last year.

  • We have some wonderful stories of tragedies to triumphs to share by those we’ve supported, all because of the incredible support of our donors that we hope would leave you inspired.

  • Our dear friends and supporters, sisters Krystina and Robyn Jackson, promise to bring everybody to their feet (OK, maybe not some of us wheelchair users) with their musical performance and judging by what they did last year, they may go on a tour after this evening. They are simply amazing.

  • Finally, the live and silent auction items will surely create a frenzy of bidders once they’ve been publicly unveiled and judging by how everything sold out last year, we see a repeat episode though we’re sure to have more items across more pricing levels.

The GlassHouse is spacious and can accommodate our anticipated 200 guests but take it from us that the tickets will go fast. We’ve kept the pricing at the same level as last years, $150 per person which includes absolutely everything. Purchase your tickets HERE and help us continue with our mission.
