Whether you’re a wheelchair tennis enthusiast or simply curious how the game is played, this coming weekend, Aug. 3-4, will be the 19th annual Silicon Valley Wheelchair Tennis Open taking place at Santa Clara University. The tournament features both men’s and women’s singles and doubles matches, providing a spectacular opportunity to watch highly-skilled wheelchair users in action.

It's a great opportunity to not only watch some great talent out on the courts but also talk to the players and find out how you can learn to play wheelchair tennis through the programs that the Smash Wheelchair Team offers.

All the activities begin at 9 a.m. on both days and the tennis courts are located at the Degheri Tennis Center near the corner of El Camino Real and Accolti in Santa Clara.
