Bay Area study of groundbreaking bladder management device for those with SCI seeks critical feedback

bladder.png

A team of researchers is trying to understand what persons living with a spinal cord injury or other neurogenic bladder conditions think of a novel bladder management system they have designed.  The team’s goal is to create a new bladder management option that might replace clean intermittent catheterization, condom catheters and suprapubic tubes.

They are now seeking your critical input into how their device could be improved. If you are a San Francisco Bay Area resident over the age of 18 and have a prior spinal cord injury, spina bifida or multiple sclerosis, they need your assistance.

The first step is a 5-minute study enrollment assessment conducted over the phone to determine your eligibility.  If eligible, you will be asked to participate in a non-invasive demonstration of the device in San Jose which would take approximately 60 minutes to complete.  For those completing the study, a $50 Amazon gift card would be given as compensation.  To participate in this study, please contact the study coordinator with your full name, e-mail address, phone number and the type of disability you have experienced:
