Adaptive Salsa and Hip-Hop classes coming to Berkeley

Dance For All Bodies, a non-profit founded by Yagmur Halezeroglu and Tess Hanson that organizes low cost, adaptive dance classes for people with differently abled bodies, is returning to Berkeley’s Ed Roberts Campus to host a series of Adaptive Hip-Hop and Salsa dance classes in March and May. Both classes are wheelchair accessible, require no partners, and no experience is required, with all ages and abilities welcomed.

The Hip-Hop classes are held on March 21st and May 2nd from 1-2 p.m. and are offered free and led by Stephanie Bastos. The Salsa classes, led by Janpi Star, are held from 1-2 p.m. on March 14th and 28th as well as on May 16th and are offered on a sliding scale anywhere from $5-$10.

All classes are held at the BORP Studio located at 3075 Adeline Street in Berkeley and advance registration is required by e-mail at danceforallbodies@gmail.com or by calling (215) 370-3416.
