Crip Camp Fellowship seeks up to 12 creatives & community organizers with disabilities for $5,000 grant and more
The Crip Camp Impact Campaign is collaborating with Adobe by establishing a fellowship program for creatives and community organizers with disabilities interested in elevating their work to the next level of visibility. Through a competitive application process, 10-12 fellows will be selected to receive a $5,000 grant to complete a passion project over a 7-month period. Fellows will participate in monthly training classes with Adobe and Crip Camp lecturers and have direct access to a pool of mentors well-established in their respective industries. All fellows will receive a one year complimentary subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud ($600+/year in value).
The Fellowship will accept 5-6 creatives with disabilities as fellows. A creative is defined as someone whose work is to produce or create artistic work. Creatives come from the production world (social media influencers, models, actors, set designers, writers) and post-production world (video effects, sound, colorists, editors, marketing). An additional 5-6 community organizers with disabilities as fellows will be accepted with a community organizer being someone who is part of a larger movement and works with peers to create social change. Community organizers are facilitators, campaign strategists, media makers, coalition builders, digital storytellers, and more.
