When it comes to residential real estate, understanding accessibility has always been problematic. Whether you’re buying, selling, or remodeling, realtors and real estate tools have historically lacked support for those seeking accessibility features in a home – until now. Accessibility experts Tom Minty from John L. Scott Realty and Barry Long from Marketplace Sotheby’s International Realty have created Able Environments, a new real estate company is focused on Accessibility, Universal Design, and Age-In-Place friendly homes. And on Wed., Jan. 27th at 7 p.m. PST, they will give a quick history of accessibility in real estate, explain some of the recent improvements to the listing system, and discuss the types of questions you should ask when creating an accessible real estate plan.

Knowing the right questions to ask is the best first step to having a happy and successful real estate experience. In this live webinar, Barry and Tom will demystify the processes of buying and selling accessible homes. This program is presented by the Northwest Regional Spinal Cord Injury System: SCI Forum and you may register for this free and virtual event HERE.
