Central Coast SCI Chapter to host Oct. 30 "Accessibility Day at Pismo Beach"

The Central Coast Chapter of the United Spinal Association is hosting a free “Accessibility Day at Pismo Beach” on Sat., Oct. 30th from Noon to 4 p.m. led by NatureTrack Foundation which will bring several All Terrain Electric Wheelchairs from Freedom Trax. It is a device that transforms a manual wheelchair into a battery-powered, all-terrain vehicle that can easily traverse beach sand and dirt trails. Most manual wheelchairs will work with a Freedom Trax but if your wheelchair doesn't work, NatureTrack will have two manual wheelchairs available for transfers as power wheelchairs cannot be used with this device due to weight limitations. But to participate, you must register HERE.

For more information about NatureTrack, contact Sue at sue@naturetrack.org and for more information about this event or information on United Spinal Association Central Coast of California, please contact Keith Smith at Keith@Unitedspinalccc.org.
