Neilsen - NorCal SCI grant program now accepting applications from newly-injured SCIs

We were honored that the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation awarded us a two-year, $200,000 grant that we hope will make a meaningful difference in the lives of 80 individuals who have experienced a spinal cord injury and it’s time we take the wraps off the program that was designed specifically to help those who are within one year from their injury date. The initial time following SCI tends to be overwhelming for the vast majority of those who have experienced it AND their loved ones and this grant program’s aim is to set these 80 individuals on a path that would have a lasting and positive impact.

The four-month-long program is comprehensive and requires a significant commitment from those who wish to enroll. It includes intensive educational and physical training, a path to education & employment, and peer support. You can learn the full details of the program and apply HERE,
