Our friends at the Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) continue to roll out more outdoor fitness programs and up next is the Sit Fit class that will be held every Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. starting on March 23rd, extending all the way through Oct. 26th of this year. These 45-60 minute long classes are led by Nathan Perkins, a certified inclusive fitness instructor and former Paralympic athlete and offer a combination of stretches, strength and cardio exercises, all done in a seated position with or without weights. There is a limit of 10 participants per session, so reserve your spot HERE.

The classes are held at the Cupertino Memorial Park located at 21121 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino (in the group picnic area where the parking lot is at the corner of Anton Way and Alves Dr.). Strict COVID-19 guidelines will be followed and masks are required. If you need an assistant to complete the exercises, they may join the class. All participants (including assistants) must have a completed BORP registration and waiver. Equipment will be provided.
