Registration opens for BORP-NorCal SCI Adaptive Cycling Sundays at Vasona Park

Our first-ever collaboration with Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) is bringing adaptive cycling for the spinal cord injury community to Vasona Park in Los Gatos for six consecutive Sundays from Noon to 3 p.m. between April 25-May 30. Ten slots per day will be available for you to choose from and enjoy the experience of riding a hand cycle through the trails of the beautiful park and lake. Each of the slots provide about 50 minutes of riding time and the BORP staff will make sure you’re fitted safely and comfortably in an appropriate cycle. As there is a limit to the number of riders each day, we urge you to register for the date and time of your choice HERE.

Even if you aren’t planning on participating, we encourage you to come on out on any of those Sundays to the park at the Boat Center parking lot (across from the entrance to the Boat Center), where we will be staging the event, and check out the cycles and ask questions from BORP’s experts as well as check out the future of adaptive cycling in the South Bay. This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Craig H. Neilsen and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundations. For further information or any questions, please contact dan@norcalsci.org.
