The Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC), a nonprofit located in the Central Sierra Nevada that offers year-round mountain adventure opportunities to adults and children with disabilities, is now taking reservations for their summer programs that include kayaking, fly-fishing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and camping in the Shaver Lake area, located 50 miles northeast of Fresno. Thanks to a grant funding from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, CCASC is able to offer lessons to persons with spinal cord injuries at no charge this summer.

This year, they will also be offering weekend campouts and single day programs, providing lessons, all camping and recreational equipment, as well as all meals. All of the activities are designed with adaptations for varying disabilities. Additional information will be provided by calling (559) 593-2504 or info@centralcaladaptive.org. There will be high demand for these programs, so contact CCASC today.
