Paraplegic wheelchair user and adaptive fitness trainer, Sarah Foley, also known as the Vertical Blonde, will lead one of her upbeat and modifiable workouts from the wheelchair on Mon., June 28th at 4 p.m. PT. Sarah experienced her spinal cord injury in 2012 as a result of an ATV rollover, injuring her back. She saw the need for a more inclusive fitness program and created Disability Icon Fitness, which provides workouts for a seated lifestyle, accountability and coaching. This free session, presented by BACKBONES, is open to all genders and abilities and is intended to highlight how you can get your life back and begin a vertical mindset, so register HERE.

In facing the hard reality of her body’s transformation following the accident, Sarah says “I realized accepting what had happened didn't mean I couldn't get better, it simply meant I accepted the fact it happened which opened me up to deciding what I wanted to do with it." She believes with healing, acceptance, choosing to only see solutions and possibilities, and choosing who you want to be, will open you up to the life you were made for.
