Thanks to a great snow season, Achieve Tahoe presents Snowsports program for those with disabilities

The recent snow storms have provided an incredible setting for the folks at Achieve Tahoe to begin ramping up their Snowsports programs for those with a disability. This program provides private adaptive ski and snowboard lessons for all abilities. Achieve Tahoe seeks to utilize each individual’s abilities to help them find the greatest amount of independence in recreation. The lessons are offered at Alpine Meadows, Olympic Valley, and Northstar resorts through the end of April and they can truly accommodate just about anyone age four and over with any disability through their specialized teaching techniques and adaptive equipment.

There are various activities offered throughout the week and though there is a charge for each program, they also offer scholarships for those in need of financial support. You can learn more about the entire program HERE.
