NorCal SCI now accepting applications for the Smart Home Independence Package program

We are once again accepting applications from deserving individuals who are resident in Northern California with a spinal cord injury who would benefit from the Smart Home Independence Package program. We officially launched the program in 2021 and to date 15 individuals have had a customized range of Google Nest products installed in their homes, providing them with critical tools to enhance their safety and independence. Among the Nest products we typically make available are a thermostat, camera/doorbell and a door lock. Though all SCI levels will be considered, priority will be given to those who would benefit the most from the package and have limited financial means to fund the equipment themselves.
