Neuralink in the News with Show and Tell Fall 2022

Neuralink CEO Elon Musk recently provided an update on the companies progress with a live YouTube event. Although the events main goal was a recruiting drive for skilled engineers and scientists to help develop a brain to computer interface, the technology remains intriguing for the SCI Community.
Musk himself stated “As miraculous as it may sound, we are confident that it is possible to restore full body function to someone who has a severed spinal cord”
He also mentioned “Probably in about 6 months we will have our first neuralink in a human”

You can watch the entire almost 3 hour event here although we recommend a more succinct 25 min version below.

Undoubtably, there is a lot of speculation and conjecture about this particular technology and we always recommend you do your own research.
A recent New York Times Article which may require a subscription is an interesting read.
