Two surgical alternatives for bladder management following SCI

After a spinal cord injury, most individuals’ ability to control urine release (urinary incontinence) may be limited as you may not be able to stop urine from flowing out of your body, or you may not be able to release urine from your body (urinary retention). In this article, you’ll learn about two such options: bladder augmentation and urinary diversion. Learn the details of these two procedures HERE.
