NorCal SCI’s semi-annual SCI Virtual Clinic was held on Sat., March 19th where five individuals with SCI in Northern California received a free consultation session with a team of clinicians with decades of experience working with the SCI population and helped address various challenges and concerns each individual brought to their appointment. This important program offers a unique opportunity for a thorough and concentrated review of the individuals health challenges to address in a 30-minute session. Each individual receives personalized recommendations from our team of experienced SCI clinicians.

Our team of clinicians, Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca Hummel-Moore, Occupational Therapist, Carole Adler Hughes, Physical Therapist, Erin Hallett, and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Shelley Wood, are all Advisory Board Members of NorCal SCI and together have many decades of experience treating individuals specifically with SCI/D. We are grateful to these volunteers who aim to serve those with SCI with poor access to experienced clinicians in their communities.

Look for our announcement of the next consultation date in a few months.
