Everlasting Love: “Disability & Erections after a spinal cord injury"

For a man with a spinal cord injury, erections are an important part of their sexual identity and their inability to achieve and maintain erections could be a debilitating part of their recovery process. In this 23-minute session, the hosts are joined by special guest Dr. Gianluca Sampogna by continuing their discussion on male sexuality and disability, expanding to discuss the issues and concerns around erections. Dr. Sampogna is a full staff Urologist working at the Neuro-Urology Service of the Niguarda Hospital, Milan, Italy. His work is divided among surgical, clinical and scientific activities. Join the hosts, Dr. Rafe Biggs, Deborah Davis, Hector DelValle, and Ligia Andrade Zuniga by viewing the video HERE.

The video is produced by the folks at Sustain Our Abilities, an online resource for people living with disabilities to receive & share information about successful living, and is part of their interactive program focusing on sexuality and SCI.
