Washington University research study seeks important feedback from adults with mid-cervical SCI

Making decisions about surgery is hard - tendon transfer, nerve transfer, no surgery. There are options for improving hand and arm function after a cervical spinal cord injury and researchers at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri have created a decision aid about upper limb reconstruction and are seeking individuals with mid-level cervical SCIs to review it. To qualify, you must be 18 to 80 years of age, have significant finger/hand/arm dysfunction, speak/read/understand English and must not have walking ability. The study involves one 60-90 minute session of independent work, completed at your own computer, and will pay $30 at end of study for your time and effort. For more information and to take a survey to see if you qualify, you may send e-mail to tetrahand@wustl.edu or by phone (314) 362-4598. You can learn more about this study HERE.
