Cooking with Arash & Shelley on May 26: The art of healthy & easy Italian cooking. NOTE DATE CHANGE

Everyone loves Italian food, right?? Pasta, lasagna, pizza are favorites (for good reason) but there's so much more to cook, eat and enjoy. Arash used to live and work (and eat) in Italy so he'll have some insider secrets to share. On Thurs., May 26th at 5 p.m. PST, join Shelley and Arash to learn their favorite ways to prepare this wonderful cuisine while always keeping it healthy and easy. "Tutti mangiamo bene insiemi!" Let's eat well together! Register for this virtual event HERE.

This free virtual presentation is part of the “NorCal SCI Presents: Virtual is the New Reality Series” and is made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors and you must register in advance to attend. Once you register, you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail from us which you should keep for access information to the virtual event.

Arash experienced his SCI in 2012 as a result of a fall. A Bay Area native, Arash credits his California upbringing for his love of the outdoors, nature, and cooking, activities he still cherishes as he continues to travel, explore and enjoy new experiences.

Shelley is a lifelong advocate of nutrition. When she isn’t working with her patients, she can be found in her greenhouse or kitchen. She obtained her B.S. in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University in 2012 and has been working at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, one of the top spinal cord injury rehabilitation hospitals in the country, since 2013.
