NorCal SCI continues its rehabilitation center outreach in the Sacramento area with in-service virtual presentations

As NorCal SCI’s programs and services continue to expand, it is important to ensure the SCI Acute Rehab Centers in Northern California are kept up to date with the latest developments.

On November 17th, NorCal SCI co-founder Nick Struthers and board member Arash Bayatmakou updated the clinicians at Dignity Health Mercy General Acute Rehabilitation on what resources were available to their SCI patients after discharge.

Arash was back on zoom again on December 8th , this time presenting to the clinicians at the Sutter Rehabilitation Institute in Roseville.

The sweep of the Sacramento area rehabs was completed on January 25th where NorCal SCI board member Dan Scrivner joined Nick in presenting to the SCI clinicians at The UC Davis Medical Center.

We have to thank Katie Gill at Mercy General, Pat Blair at SRI and Angela Gar-Mun Ziegler at UC Davis for coordinating the sessions and ensuring their staff were updated on the latest developments in the NorCal SCI programs particularly the Neilsen Grant program and The Franklin Project.

The NorCal SCI team value our strong relationships with these professional organizations who provide vital rehabilitation to the newly injured and are committed to supporting their SCI patients in anyway we can.
