Backbones Leadership Program Now Taking Applications!

Applications are now open for the BACKBONES Leaders Program cohort, inviting adults with spinal cord injuries to apply for this unique opportunity.

The BACKBONES Leaders Program is a free, virtual leadership development experience designed to empower people with spinal cord injuries and disabilities to strengthen their voices, build community, and lead change. Participants engage in personal growth, skill-building, and peer mentorship over the course of several months, gaining tools to make meaningful impact in their communities. Participants in the Leaders Program will have up to a $1000 grant for professional development.

BACKBONES is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people with spinal cord injury and related disabilities through programs that promote personal and community growth. Since 2009, BACKBONES has worked to ensure that people with disabilities feel supported, represented, and empowered.
