BORP Hosting Freedom Trax Wheelchair Beach Riding in Alameda Sep 6th-7th

Freedom Trax allow wheelchair users to access sand and other difficult terrain

Love the beach but your wheelchair doesn’t? Here is your chance to have some fun ON the beach with Freedom Trax, a unique mobility device that was created to access difficult terrain including sand.  This device only accommodates manual wheelchairs and a few will be available but you’re encouraged to bring your own. If you’re not able to transfer into the manual wheelchair independently, you are required to bring someone that can assist you with the transfer.

Wheelchair accessible transportation will be available from the Ed Roberts Campus ONLY on Friday, Sep 6

SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL FILL UP FAST!

To sign up contact Judy Smith, judithsmith313@gmail.com, (510) 914-0870
