Christie's Sereno 1% Community Impact Grant awards $10,000 to NorCal SCI

Christie's Sereno 1% For Good Charitable Foundation leads the way in giving back to the communities where they live and work. Through the foundation, they are able to invest in local non-profit partners who work to create positive change in their communities.

NorCal SCI would like to sincerely thank the team at Christie’s Sereno Los Gatos for their support in securing a $10,000 award as part of the Community Impact Grant.

“Organizations like Christie’s Sereno really put their money where their mouth is when is comes to supporting their communities” writes NorCal SCI co-founder Nick Struthers. “When myself and Arash visited the Los Gatos office in February, there was clearly something special about the compassion and support we felt from the team members we met that day. In a world of high corporate profits, there is a lesson to be learnt from their thoughtful and generous approach to community giving. The organization has gifted over $6M to worthy causes since the programs inception in 2012.”

Israel Herndandez who was a recipient of our Road to Recovery Program and an active Peer Support Volunteer at SCVMC joined Nick to receive the $10,000 check from Sereno’s Jason Noriega, Vice President of Experience - Los Gatos.
