Interested in Trying Wheelchair Rugby? Informal Summer Practices Available in Berkeley

Summer is a great time to try out wheelchair rugby before the season officially starts in September. The sport is open to people of any gender with a disability that affects at least three limbs. For SCI, this usually means people with effective impairment at the C5 through C7 levels. Anyone who can push a manual wheelchair during practice is welcome, including those who normally use a power chair or are ambulatory. Feel free to drop by to check it out and learn more. The practices are organized and supported by BORP Adaptive Sports & Recreation.
