NorCal SCI appoints Arash Bayatmakou as Executive Director

We are excited to announce that Arash Bayatmakou will be our first Executive Director.

Those of you who have attended our fundraising events or participated in the ‘Cooking with Arash’ video series will have already seen him in action, you can also check out his profile here.

“Arash has been with us from the very beginning and was the star speaker at our initial fundraising event Inspire 2018.” writes NorCal SCI co-founder Nick Struthers.
“He has been on our board of directors for 4 years and has shown passion and commitment to support the underserved SCI Community in Northern California. Crucially, Arash along with other board members stepped up to help fill the chasm left by co-founder Franklin Elieh who tragically passed away in May of last year. He believes whole heartedly in Franklin’s vision for the NorCal SCI community and will do his utmost to cement Franklin’s legacy.“

The appointment is designed to ensure the smooth running of existing core programs, help facilitate and accelerate further growth of the organization and ensure funding sources are maintained and expanded. More importantly, this will continue to have a positive impact on the community we serve.
