NorCal SCI continues its rehabilitation center outreach

Two weeks ago, NorCal SCI co-founder Nick Struthers and board member Dan Scrivner visited The Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto for the first time. It was an ideal opportunity to update the Encompass staff on NorCal SCI’s programs and services that can have a positive on the Encompass patients after their discharge from inpatient rehabilitation. They were joined by friend and local SCI advocate Misty Marez who graciously made herself available to Encompass for SCI Peer Support and community connection.

NorCal SCI would like to thank Business Development Director, Lisa Clawson for coordinating the visit and giving a warm welcome. There were over 15 clinicians and members of staff who had the opportunity to find out more about the NorCal SCI Programs and the SCI landscape in Northern California.
