NorCal SCI Presents at Fresno SCI Support Group

On May 17th, NorCal SCI's Dan Scrivner and Arash Bayatmakou did a virtual presentation at the SCI support group in Fresno, hosted by the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center.

The group meets monthly and it was a great opportunity for support group attendees – as well as hospital staff and therapists – to familiarize themselves with NorCal SCI and the various programs and resources we provide. In addition to long running programs like Donated Medical Equipment and Smart Home Independence Packages, Dan and Arash shared updates on The Neilsen Program and The Franklin Project, two of NorCal SCI's programs specifically aimed to help people who have suffered a SCI/D in the last two years.

We would like to thank Kaz Sensenbaugh for the invitation to present to the Fresno group and look forward to continuing our partnerships and collaborations with our friends in Fresno and the many other hospitals, rehab centers, and support groups in Northern California.
